Good Night, My Daughter 01

Maisie, a dedicated full-time mother, bears the burden of an unhappy marriage. Her husband Ian, immersed in his work, continuously communicates with his former lover Rita. During her daughter Norene's birthday, Maisie makes a gesture of stepping back to allow for quality time between Ian and Norene, but instead, her daughter is abandoned by the sea and endures a fatal accident. After their daughter's demise, Maisie's heart is broken, and in the midst of domestic turmoil, she is determined to divorce, an action met with refusal from Ian. Post a cemetery event, Maisie loses her unborn second child and uncovers the malfeasance of Ian and Rita, which culminates in Ian's act of killing Rita. In the end, within the confines of a dream, Maisie manages to save her daughter, achieving her dearest wish, yet it comes with the sacrifice of her own life.
