Rory proved to be a sanctimonious hypocrite, having swapped my newborn daughter with Jayne's child, who suffered from a congenital heart defect, under the guise of pity for Jayne's situation. He justified his actions by suggesting that, given our family's wealth, we should offer assistance. My daughter endured mistreatment from Jayne, facing such severe circumstances that she almost leapt off a building, but I intervened and rescued her. When I confronted Rory, he exuded an air of moral superiority, attributing his actions to a friend's conscience as he was acquainted with Jayne. He advised me not to be petty. Unable to tolerate his behaviour any longer, I opted for divorce, leading him to brand me as heartless and lacking compassion. I took decisive action and had both of them incarcerated.
