After leaving the army, Jaxon returned home. One night at a local spot famous for its grilled skewers, he couldn’t ignore the wrongdoing he saw when Paige and Evan were being harassed by Jon. He stepped in to save them. However, when he got home, he was shocked to discover that his father had remarried. His new stepmother, Norah, had moved in with her children, Paige, Lexi, and Evan. Before long, Jaxon learned the real reason his military status had been revoked: he was assigned a covert mission to eliminate a mysterious organisation. To make matters worse, this squad was somehow connected to his mother’s death.
