After Lucy married Cole, he left her while she was pregnant to return to military camp. Seven years later, Lucy decided to visit Cole at the camp for the sake of their son, Nick. However, Cole had remarried Roselyn, the daughter of Jennifer, during his time there. Tragically, Nick was killed by Roselyn and Jennifer. In an attempt to ingratiate himself with Lucy's father, a high-ranking officer, Cole killed Jennifer. In turn, Roselyn then killed Cole before taking her own life.
